PAKISTAN-ROMANIA BUSINESS COUNCIL
My Esteemed Friends!
Today, in extending my warm welcome to the elite businesspeople from all over Pakistan, as well as distinguished persons and organisations representing business in Pakistan, we can surmise that the Pak Ro Business platform would further enhance trade between Romania and Pakistan.
I share with you, distinguished businesspeople, the aspiration and desire to stimulate the growth of our economies, to create suitable conditions for the insertion of businesses in a global economy and in general, to promote growth in production capacity through internationalisation. Promoting exports, as a priority for healthy and sustained economic growth that incorporates new technologies and capacity for innovation. That is precisely what this Business Council is about. Nowadays it is not businesses that compete by themselves in international markets; it is the countries who, through their competitive and comparative advantages, permit the creation of new and better businesses, businesses whose great enterprising spirit incorporate human capital capable of developing new skills and knowledge, for the promotion and development of intraregional trade and the improvement of new and better flows of investment.
I reiterate my cordial welcome and conclude with a hope that PRBC can help lay a foundation for expanding economic and trade relations between our two countries and I wish us all a successful ”Pakistan Romania Business Council”.
